Ascension is a map originally from the game, Halo 2. However, many map editiors have made custom maps that have replicated Ascension and turned it into a Halo: Custom Edition map, and therefore, there are many custom variants of the map Ascension.

When a player goes into devmode, they can get an assortment of vehicles to drop on the floor. The vehicles that drop vary on the Ascension variant that the player has. Below is a list of vehicles that would usually drop:
- Banshee
- Warthog
- Gauss Warthog
- Rocket Warthog
- Ghost
- Turret
- Scorpion Tank
